SMASH is very grateful for all your support. The money we raised last year has been used to make a huge difference at our school. For example, this year we purchased a new set of Core Value cups, paid for a yearly subscription to TimeTables Rockstars and supported the Wizard of Oz school trip.

Latest SMASH News - we are grateful for every donation as we can't raise money without the generosity of parents

A big thank you to all the parents who helped us throughout the year.

We all worked hard to raise money for St Mary's school but we couldn't do that without parents support and contribution.

Special Thank You to all who helped and participated in our Summer Fete. We raised £2632!

We are very grateful and we are looking forward to cooperating again in the new school year.

 Have a great summer!

 Magda Cichocka - Committee Chair

The Headteacher thanks SMASH for its generous contribution of

£1000 towards the purchase of the school Bus Stop Shelter,

which is located on the Boston Avenue site.
The shelter provides cover for the Reception and Year 1 children who use the school minibus for transportation over to East Street in the mornings and cover for children using the school minibus for school trips.

SMASH has also donated £1300 for new staging in our school hall, which will make our school productions even more wonderful!

Keep a look out for more exciting news and events to follow!

What is SMASH? ‘S.M.A.S.H’ stands for
Saint Mary’s Association for School and Home
We are the Parent/Teacher Association for St Mary’s Prittlewell C of E Primary School.
We were founded in 2001. We are a registered charity and a member of the National Council of Parent Teacher Associations (NCPTA).

Our aims

We want to enhance the experience of both the children and their families at our school. We want to help create an inclusive, active and fun community among the families connected with our school.
We also want to raise money to put towards school projects to benefit your children.

Getting involved

Under the terms of our constitution, all parents become members of SMASH when their child joins the school and you can become involved as much as you like. You could become a committee member. You could help out at events every so often.
We never turn away an offer of help at whatever level!   If you can help at an event or you want to become more involved,
contact any member of the SMASH committee (details below) or contact us via the black SMASH postbox opposite the school office.
We are parents just the same as you.  All work is done on a purely voluntary basis.
