Prospective Reception Intake 2026 - 2027 Tours of the School

If you would like to view our school ahead of submitting your application form, we welcome you to join us on one of our tours of the East Street site (Reception and Year 1 school site).  Our tour dates are as follows:

Wednesday, 22^nd October, 9.00am

Saturday, 8^th November, 10.00am
Monday, 1^st December, 2.00pm
Friday, 9^th January, 9.00am

We also have a tour for SEN families that will also take place on
Wednesday, 22nd October at 9.00am
with our SENCO for those wishing to ask more specific questions

As we are currently a two-site school, will also have a tour of our
Boston Avenue site (where pupils in Years 2 to 6 attend)
on Monday, 8^th December, 10.00am

Mrs Rowlingson is based on the East Street site of our school.

If you have a child born between 1 September 2021 and 31 August 2022 you must apply now for your child to start school September 2026.

You should apply online at www.southend.gov.uk/admissions by the deadline of 15 January 2026 for up to three schools you wish for your child to be considered for. This also includes children due to start in September 2026 who already have siblings in the school - you must still apply for them to be considered for a place - there is not an automatic offer for siblings.

For your child to be considered for a place at St. Mary's School for the next Reception intake, you must complete the council Admission Application Form for all schools you wish for your child to be considered for and a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) for St. Mary's School. The SIF is available on this website.

Please note: For other faith schools in the borough, you may still need to complete a SIF for them. Please contact those schools to find out more about their admission process.

Applications submitted to the council after the deadline of 15th January 2026 will be marked as a late entry and will not be considered until after the first round of offers go out on National Offer Day 16th April 2026.
