Extra-Curricular Clubs

We provide many other extra-curricular clubs during and after school - please see our below list.  These should be booked at the beginning of term via your Magic Bookings account.  Clubs are on a first come, first served basis.

We also offer Music Lessons in school on a weekly basis in conjunction with Southend City Council.  For further information and prices, please speak with our School Office Team.

Breakfast Club and After-School Club

At St Mary’s we provide childcare before and after school to support parents/carers who are working. We provide a safe and happy environment for the children in our care.

    Breakfast Club

• 7.30am opening
• £5.00 per session
• Discount is available for children in receipt of the Pupil Premium Grant
• Tax free childcare vouchers are accepted
• Held at the Boston Avenue school site - entry is via the School Office for all year groups
• Children in Reception and Year 1 are transported over to the East Street school site at the end of Breakfast Club in time for the start of their school day
• Pre-booking is required via your Magic Bookings account and payment is made at the time of booking. Booking is available for the current half term and can be made and cancelled up to an hour before the club starts 
• A healthy breakfast is provided which includes a choice of cereals, porridge, toast and preserves, yoghurts and fruit
• Children engage in indoor and outdoor activities

   After-School Club

• 3.00pm-6.00pm
• £10 per session
• Discount is available for children in receipt of the Pupil Premium Grant
• Tax free childcare vouchers are accepted
• Held at the East Street school site for all year groups – collection of the children is via the gate to the East Street site playground in the school car park
• Children in Years 2 to 6 are transported over to the East Street school site on the school minibuses
• Pre-booking is required via your Magic Bookings account and payment is made at the time of booking.  Bookings are open for the current half term and can be made and cancelled up until 12.00pm on the day
• A healthy snack is provided – e.g. toast, crackers and cheese, bagels, pancakes, yoghurts, fruity cake bars and raisins.  Fruit is readily available to the children throughout the session
• Children in engage in indoor and outdoor activities
• PLEASE NOTE - Late collection – If a child is collected after 6.00pm, a charge of £5.00 per 15 minutes late is made. In the case of a child not collected after 30 minutes and no contact with the parent/carer, the school will make contact with Social Care.
