School Uniform

Full uniform details:

PE (Physical Education): Please send your child into school wearing their PE kit on their allocated PE days.  They will remain in these clothes for the day.

  • White polo shirt (plain or with school logo), or white shirt (long or short sleeved, which must be worn with the school tie).  Ties can be purchased from the School Office.

  • Royal blue school jumper/ sweatshirt, cardigan, (plain or with school logo).

  • Grey trousers, grey shorts, grey skirt/pinafore, blue striped blue or gingham (checked) dress/playsuit.  Black, white or royal blue cycling shorts may be worn under skirts/dresses.

  • White, grey or black socks or suitable plain black or grey tights.

  • School footwear may be trainer-style, but all footwear must be entirely black.

  • PE and sport watches and ALL jewellery, including earrings are to be removed.
In the summer, white t-shirt (plain or with school logo), royal blue shorts and trainers for games. For autumn/winter, non-branded tracksuits in black, grey or any blue may be worn.  The school branded hoodie can be worn on PE days and school trips if you have one.  Any trainers suitable for sports can be worn on PE day.

  • All children will need a bag or book bag for school. Their reading/ library books, reading records, homework folders and letters will all be kept in them.  It does not have to be a St. Mary’s School Bag/Book Bag.  Children can bring in bags of their choice.

  • For Reception children, we ask that you bring in a pair of named rubber wellington boots for outdoor use, which can be kept in school.  Please ensure your child has a waterproof coat in school at all times, as much of our learning takes place outdoors in all weathers!  Please also include a spare change of clothes in your child’s bag in case of accidents.
