Reception Intake 2026 - 2027 
(children born between 1st September 2021 and 31st August 2022)

 

The 2026/27 Reception Admission process is managed by Southend Borough Council Local Education Authority as part of their co-ordinated admissions policy.  You must complete a form for the local council to be considered for all schools you wish to apply for.

 

Please contact the council either by calling: Admissions Department (01702) 212934, by email at: admissions@southend.gov.uk , or by visiting their website: https://www.southend.gov.uk/admissions 

 

In addition to the council Admission Application Form, you must also complete a Supplementary Information Form (SIF) for your child to be considered for a Reception 2026/27 place at St. Mary's and return it to us at the school.  The SIF can be found at the top of this page.

 

Prospective Reception Intake 2026 - 2027 Tours of the School

 

If you would like to view our school ahead of submitting your application form, we welcome you to join us on one of our tours of the East Street site (Reception and Year 1 school site).  Our tour dates are as follows:

 

Wednesday, 22nd October, 9.00am

Saturday, 8th November, 10.00am
Monday, 1st December, 2.00pm
Friday, 9th January, 9.00am

 

We also have a tour for SEN families that will also take place on
Wednesday, 22nd October at 9.00am
with our SENCO for those wishing to ask more specific questions

 

As we are currently a two-site school, will also have a tour of our
Boston Avenue site (where pupils in Years 2 to 6 attend)
on Monday, 8th December, 10.00am
